We have some incredible news to share: the backlands of ÁRIDA has crossed the ocean and landed straight in Germany! From August 26th to 30th, Aoca Game Lab was present at Gamescom Cologne 2026, the biggest gaming event in the world.
This was a historic milestone for our studio, as it was the very first time we showcased both titles in the saga simultaneously at a global event: ÁRIDA: Backlands Awakening and the highly anticipated ÁRIDA 2: Rise of the Brave!
ÁRIDA 2: Rise of the Brave | BGA Booth (Abragames): We were selected as one of the top 10 final studios in the Brazil Games Accelerator! The second chapter of Cícera's journey was showcased in the BGA booth for international press, partners, and publishers.
ÁRIDA 1: Backlands Awakening | Embratur Booth (Brasil tá pra Games): As winners of Embratur's inaugural award edition, we were invited back to the event. We demonstrated the first game running on Google Play Games for PC, expanding accessibility to even more players!
