Patch v1.0.4 [beta] is now available on Steam via the beta branch! It can be accessed by selecting “beta” under the Game Versions and Betas menu for Clockwork Ambrosia.
This patch brings a handful of bugfixes and some pathing improvements to the game world, but the bigger feature is one that’s been requested of us a number of times now: native Steam Input support! This actually ended up requiring a bigger overhaul than we expected, so it took longer than we wanted. We like to crow about our engine being a double-edged sword, and this is one of those times we felt the stabby part more!
Because it did result in such a big change to our controller code, we’re going to leave v1.0.4 on the beta branch longer than most patches, and we’d appreciate if anyone could take the time to try it out and let us know if they have any controller issues. (Or if previous issues are now resolved! Wouldn’t that be sweet?)
