Release Notes 0.0.44
List of known issues:
Critical errors:
- There could be a problem with the AutoSave Feature if you go back to the Main Menu during a mission, you may lose some of the latest progress you've made. It almost never happens, but in case it does, do let us know, we'll attempt to fix it asap as soon as we discover the cause.
- The Mars mission, “Foul Deeds Will Rise”, may fail to start sometimes, in this case closing the application and attempting to play the mission again will most likely fix the issue. If it doesn't, please restart the application again and select another mission.
- Very rarely, after an enemy of the CSAC faction throws a grenade, the floor can change color and afterwards the renderer may stop working. In this case, there is no option but to restart the application.
- On some very rare scenarios, when an Overwatch triggers, there is a very low chance that the game could appear to have frozen. If it does not unfreeze itself in 10 seconds, it means the game softlocked. On these cases, restarting the application is the only solution.
- If you use Maria’s skill ‘Share the Pain’ with the MSRM Specialist in range (the unit that casts ‘Pain Reflect’) within the Republic’s Secondary mission, the game may freeze. Unfortunately, restarting the application is the only solution.
Performance:
- You may encounter some performance problems on some specific areas of some specific missions, we are still working on optimization, we apologize for any inconveniences this could cause.
Gameplay:
- On some rare scenarios, attacking with Ranged Weapons in Melee Lock may cause an unwanted movement before the attack.
- Some Achievements may fail to unlock when the conditions are met. Achievements will be working properly for the Full Release of the game.
- Clicking on the Weapon Panel HUD to switch weapons may not always respond to input. Moving the mouse away from the HUD and going back on it and clicking again near the icon of the weapon will most likely fix the issue.
- Some turrets on the Directorate's level may fail to activate even when the right amount of turns have passed.
- The HUD marker that highlights affected units with AoE skills is not big enough and could go by unnoticed.
- When landing critical hits, the Damage counter may fail to appear to alert that the attack landed more damage than what was predicted. if you deal more damage than the prediction says, it means it was a Critical Hit.
- Melee Lock may occasionally not work as intended and fail to lock the opponent.
Camera:
- When the action camera triggers, it will sometimes move inside an object or wall and block sight of the action.
- Using the Skip Cutscene function will sometimes fail to put the camera back to the correct position for the rest of the cutscene, but it will go back to working correctly once it's over or a combat starts.
- During events that occur mid-fight, the camera may fail to make walls and obstacles disappear, effectively blocking sight of the action. This depends on what direction the camera was pointing at when the event triggered.
Sound and Music:
- No gunshot SFX is observed when enemy shoots at the player characters just before the 1st combat of the Tutorial.
- When fighting on Truce for the second time, the battle music may fail to play properly.
- There are some SFX's that may fail to trigger, like when rounds bounce off the Tank in the Union's mission and the preparation sounds of some enemy skills.
- Some ambient SFXs may still be heard after putting the Sound option to volume 0. If you wish the application to be completely muted, you can use the OS volume mixer until we fix the issue.
