Backlog List

Buffs & Debuffs
We've been working on a standardization pass on buff and debuff timer expirations.

Right now, buff and debuff duration is tracked only through the player's turn. This has lead to various inconsistencies.

In the future, buff and debuff duration will start counting turns from the moment the buff or debuff’s effects are applied, ticking up whenever it’s time for its caster to act again.

For example, say Maria uses her “Share the Pain” skill on an enemy. This debuff’s effect lasts for one turn. This means that after being cast it last for the remaining duration of Maria’s turn, the entirety of the enemy’s turn, and expires on Maria’s next turn.

Companion Missions

We just wrapped up all companion missions and delivered them to our QA team for testing!

Companion missions become available when you develop enough trust and reputation with a given companion. They are special story missions that serve as the climax of the companions’ personal story arcs. Helping them complete these missions will earn you their loyalty, unlocking a unique combat perk and a final ship conversation with them.

High-Tier Perks and Skills

We have finished balancing and testing the game’s top-tier perks. In the final release of the game you will be able to go full super-saiyan without fear of the game exploding.

Endings

Work has been completed on the game’s various endings and epilogues. These are variations of the game’s closing scenes and of the final political panorama of the Galaxy, all dependent on the many choices you made throughout the game.

Keep in mind that these are variations in the direction and details of a central conclusion, so don’t expect Christopher to save the Galaxy in one ending and to open up a flower shop in another. Still, we can proudly say that the payoff won’t be one of three different colored explosions.

Special Final Boss Stage

Speaking of endings, we’ve also tied up the game’s final battle. Boy, if you thought the game was hard, you haven’t seen anything yet! This battle will test your mastery of all the game’s combat systems while still providing a good amount of breadth for you to approach it with different tactics, styles, and party compositions, making your victory truly your own.
