Hey Polytopians,
Besides our normal holiday events, it’s the time for our yearly Concordance Day Celebration!
“What is Concordance Day?” is what you probably just asked yourself. Well, it’s a holiday celebrated on the Square by all of the Polytopians to commemorate a weeklong peace a really long time ago by their ancestors! In past years, we’ve taken this time to talk about the Ancients, the empire of the first Polytopians, and their Ancient Polytopian Civil War, and this year will be no different!
Much like last year, we’re going to hand you a blurb and you get to draw the picture to accompany it! Why would you want to do this? Because besides us sharing the winning artwork with the community, you’ll win a free copy of Polytopia on Steam (with DLC), limited edition stickers, free merchandise, and a secret. ;)
Without further ado, here is the blurb that should inspire you:
"Legends tell of Topan and Pol, who stepped out of the Moon and onto the Square to become the first Polytopians. As their descendants multiplied and spread across the land, they formed an empire which the tribes know now as ‘The Ancients.’ Here begins the story of the Ancient Polytopians."
Send your submissions to [email protected], where they’ll be reviewed and the winner chosen by Midjiwan, himself!
The contest starts now and will end on January 7th at 7pm UTC, so make sure you have sent in your submissions for the contest before then. The winner will be announced on January 8th at 7pm UTC.
