On November 1st, Belln, a ranger, achieved what no other hero achieved in the history of Nevergrind Online! Belln hit level 99 and hit the experience cap exactly one day after being created! Belln had accrued a whopping 53 days of playtime throughout the year before the insurmountable goal was achieved.
When we originally designed the level cap, we knew that we wanted level 99 to be nearly impossible for most players. After level 90, we ramped up the required experience to nearly absurd levels. And from 98 to 99, we knew that we wanted it to be a ridiculous number, so that's exactly how it was designed. The jump from 98 to 99 requires over 47 million experience! For reference, all of 1 to 98 only takes about 21 million experience! Earning level 99 unlocks the final talent point for Belln, making for a total of 98 talent points to spend on customizing her skills.
It would be a shame if such a momentous achievement went unnoticed. Thankfully, our team of developers were eager to design two custom legendary items—one for hitting 99 first and one for being the first ranger to 99.
The first item is Belln's Yamasa Massacre, which, at this time, is the highest DPS bow in the entire game!
The second item is Belln's Serene Dahlia, a fantastic ring with unique benefits!
Notably, these two items are the first items in the entire game with "+ to All Talents". This allows talents to be boosted beyond their hard cap which makes customizing your hero with items even more interesting! In the future, many items will be re-worked to include talent bonuses such as these! For the time being, Belln will enjoy a unique bonus that others can only dream about!
