
Things are getting spooky in Ficterra!
We've added a new chilling and dark area to the game. Introducing the Harrowing Woods biome!
Trees blot out the sun making the surface a shadowy maze. Bring a lantern and use wild Glowleaf to guide you through it.

Explore gloomy ponds, rotted tree trunks, and abandoned cabins scattered throughout the forest. Search them carefully as the shadows hide valuable secrets...

Wolfhounds can be found wandering around the woods. These friendly dogs can be your pets, if you can find them.

Rumors suggest that there was once a small village tucked away between the trees. Its people were supposedly chased off by a terrifying monster. But that's just a rumor, so its probably not true...

Updates
- The Harrowing Woods biome has been added into the game. This is a gloomy cool biome with dense forests
- The Harrowing Cabin, Stump, Pond and Werewolf Village sketches have been added to the game. These spawn in the Harrowing Woods biome
- Wolfhounds have been added to the game. These are friendly animals that spawn in the Harrowing Woods biome. Wolfhounds come in 4 different coats and can become pets
- The first Boss monster, 'Werewolf', has been added to the game. It has a unique drop table and is a hidden spawn in the Werewolf Village.
- Werewolf meat and Cooked Werewolf meat has been added to the game. It heals more than other food. The cooked meat heals even more and also gives a bonus to damage for 15 minutes
- A new Mythic ring item, 'Hungering Eye' has been added to Ficterra. It uniquely drops off the new Werewolf boss. It gives a small chance when attacked to give you Werewolf meat
- The Watcher Statue now locks by default when placed
- The ability for per-biome music has been added to the game. Currently only the Harrowing Woods biome has its own music, the rest of the biomes share the same track. We will be adding more music in future updates
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where custom games would sometimes fail to load volumes in extreme environment areas
- Removed an extraneous collider from Paintings
- Fixed a bug where consecutive filters when searching for items would stack
- The 'spawns' command should now properly save the spawned NPC in all cases
- The defensive types on monsters have been updated so they fit better
- Paintings of icons no longer look messed up
