Korean Localization and Hardcore Levels

Good day chefs! We've been busy in the kitchen for a few weeks, and we're happy to bring some new and tasty content to your tables: today Diner Bros receives a new update! The first thing we want to announce is that now Diner Bros is fully localized to Korean! Korean gamers have supported us since its release, and we wanted to give back some of that love. To all our players from there: 고맙습니다! We're also adding a fan-made Czech translation; huge kudos and thanks to its author, David Koncivny!

But that's not all, folks! For those of you who have tested your skills with the knife and pan by impressing all the critics and beating both the campaign and the Challenge Level, here you have 2 new hardcore levels that will put your cool, skill, and reflexes to a test. Good luck with them -- you're going to need it... but as they say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!

There are some other changes in this update, such as a new secret achievement and some quality-of-life fixes. You will find a comprehensive list below. Enjoy the update, and bon appétit!

NEW FEATURES

  • 5 New Challenge Levels! Including 2 hardcore levels
  • New Achievement: Triple Chop [Secret]
  • New Languages: Korean, Czech (Fan Translation)

CHANGES

  • Increased difficulty of "Quadathlon" and "King of Punks"
  • Reduced frequency of Divas in campaign and endless mode
  • Larger hitbox on Punks (Should make it easier to catch them!)

FIXES

  • The endless mode achievements will now correctly unlock ("Is that all?" and "I ain't even tired"). If you have already met the requirements, start and finish an endless game with any score to unlock them.
  • Fixed character select screen freeze that would occur with multiple controllers
  • The message "The Critic was not Impressed" will now correctly show up
  • Fixed inverted DPad for multiple controllers
  • Starting a new game in easy mode will now correctly set the game's difficulty
