Update: Fresh Features for the Choreography Editor & Contest Reminder!

More tools to create custom songs!

Just a quick note about some new features and fixes for the Choreography Editor coming at you hot at the start of this fine week. These enhancements are coming just in time, too, as it's the final week to submit your custom choreography for the Golden Pineapple Choreography Contest! We hope the impact these new options have on your experience creating custom trips is as big and bold as your moves! ːsteamhappyː

Now onto the good stuff...

Choreography Editor fixes and features!

  • NEW. Mirror your moves! Save time by creating mirrored versions of sections to do the same move on the opposite side, along the x-axis. When you've copied a section you'd like, save it as a snippet, then just hit the new mirror button next to the snippets (see circled button in screenshot below) to create a mirrored snippet to use! (see adjacent new mirrored snippet)
  • NEW. Drag elements forward and backward in time. Grab any game element (Gems, DirGems, Ribbons, Drums, Walls) using the trigger, and drag using the grips at the same time to move the element (in real-time!) as you move through the song.
  • NEW. Pinch delete ribbons! You can now pinch delete the beginning and end of Ribbons to make them shorter! This is the same pinch delete you can use for any gameplay element, by holding the element (using the trigger) and clicking the joystick or trackpad (depending on your controller) to delete! Note - if you pinch-delete the middle of a ribbon, the entire ribbon will be deleted.
  • FIX. Drum sentience has been dialed back, they should no longer move of their own accord. We fixed a strange bug that was erroneously moving the position of drums for some players. ːsteamsadː Please let us know if this persists for you!
