A bug ONLY affecting first-time players has been fixed today, so thank you to everyone who tried our game and let us know their first trip may have seemed impossibly difficult! You are not bad - It was a bug that was causing players to experience Beginner and Regular choreographies at the same time on their first playthrough! ːsteamfacepalmː The intended mechanic was that players start at Beginner level and--with enough success and a high enough combo--the game would progress to Regular level. What you instead experienced, as mentioned above, were both difficulties simultaneously. No wonder some were having a hard time on their first tries! Thank you so much again for helping us find and splat this bug! ːsteamhappyː
We also took this opportunity to make some other improvements and fixes which you can find below!

Major Fixes:
- Fixed issue where players might encounter double gems, ribbons, etc on first play-through.
- Fixed issue where sometimes the 'You' leaderboard view was not showing where you were on the leaderboard. Now you can see exactly where you stand!
Minor Fixes:
- Fixed an issue with the song timer display on the spectator camera. Now it correctly counts down after restarting a song.
- Fixed Undo / Redo in Choreographer Tool conflicting with pausing.
Major Updates:
We have enhanced the Choreography Tool with some added features and quality of life improvements!
- You can now use the grips on the controllers to push and pull backwards and forwards through your custom song in a measured, controlled, and intuitive way!
- Drums and Dirgems have a more natural starting position when placing them in your custom choreography. Of course you can then pull the handle on these to rotate them to your liking.
- Ribbon Explosion! We created a cool trick for those sweeping gem sections... If you create a ribbon on whatever beat division you choose, you can then choose the gem tool and click on the beginning of the ribbon, and voila! The ribbon will turn into gems along the same curve in that beat division!
- Pinch to delete! Try this for a quick erase of an object: While playback is paused, "grab" the item you want to delete (hold down the trigger while hovering over the item with your cursor) and then while holding the trigger, click the center of the pad or joystick (depending on your controller). Ta-dah! No need to open the console and switch to erase mode.
Choreography Fix:
- Removed impossible rogue ribbon on beat 78 in Satisfaction Expert. Thank you for finding this, Expert Trippers!
