Special Announcement - Work in progress

Dear Mechanics,

it’s been a while since we released Plane Mechanic Simulator and it is the high time we can share with you what has been going on, where we are, and where are we heading now.

Plane Mechanic Simulator was released in Early Access on February 13, 2019. Since the very first day, we managed to impress you with precision and satisfy with the design of Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1, De Havilland Tiger Moth, and De Havilland Mosquito. It was a great motivation for us to push harder and move forward with the development, accordingly to the schedule we had for this game.

Unfortunately, after a few very positive months we had to change the direction of where we aimed to pursue the development process of Plane Mechanic Simulator.
You may ask why?

Plane Mechanic Simulator is an original concept developed in-house in Movie Games, but the team which was developing the game was chosen to create the Early Access version of the game, a limited amount of work. Due to certain misunderstandings, both sides decided to go different ways.

Despite a temporary lack of a team, we stayed focus on the development and did not quit finishing this game. As a result, having high expectations for the game and a robust plan for the actual, consequent development process we decided to choose a bigger team with more aviation experts who could support us in designing not only minor elements but actual planes, mechanics and other improvements.

The arrangements with a new team are near completion and the new developers’ team will start soon.

We promise to keep you updated from now on, but most importantly we would like to guarantee delivery of a high-quality product you can enjoy for a long time.

Yours,
Movie Games
