We want to announce big News. Now we have a new name - Daily OVR!
The name change is a big thing for us. The main reason for the change is that we want to establish a stronger connection with the OpenVR overlay technique. DailyVR is a good name. However, users may not easily find DailyVR when they want to search an OpenVR overlay solution. We've tried to build the connection between the OpenVR overlay solution and DailyVR. However, the result didn't reach our expectation.
We had several discussions with the team and users. Finally, we made a decision. We have to change the product name.
We've re-designed our logo for the new name as well. We hope that the new logo will give you a better VR app image. However, we haven't finished all the name change works yet. So you will see the old DailyVR string somewhere.
We hope now users can easily find our work - Daily OVR. Also, we will keep working hard to provide more features against users' feedback.
