Multiple CustomApps (up to 5)
Almost everyone needs more overlays (including us). It's not an easy thing and relates to several performance issues and limitations. If we want to provide this feature, we must do many performance tuning works. After long time hard-working, we've finally solved the most severe performance issue. Even we knew it's not the end of performance tuning, but it works much better than before.
However, this feature highly depends on your PC performance. If you feel a bad performance, you could set the FPS rate to low or close some overlays.
CustomApp QuickSwitch
When we use multiple overlays, we still felt not so convenient for switching programs. We thought that there must be a better way for effectively changing programs. That's why we created QuickSwitch.
QuickSwitch provides several features:
- Program List (of course) You can select a program on the program list.
- One History You can quickly go back to the previous program.
- My Favorites You can save the frequently used program to My Favorites.
Other improvements and fixes
- Now the overlay would lock the keyboard input focus.
In the previous version, if you enable the keyboard and incautiously move the controller's laser to other overlays, your focus would be lost because of mouse pointer movement. It may irritate you.
Now if you enable the keyboard, DailyVR would prevent any other inputs from the controllers. We hope that It would help you to use the keyboard.
- Supported "Desktop" and "Monitors." Many users told us they want to mirror "Desktop" or even more, mirror monitor. Now we support it.
- More transparent and smaller main panel and DailyVR icon Many users complained that the main panel and DailyVR icon are too big or should be more transparent. We made some adjustments.
- Fixed the "missing phone call notification" bug Now you can correctly get phone call notification from DailyVR mobile app.
- Performance improvements We made some performance improvements by using other techniques. Now it's better. However, there still are many performance tuning to-do tasks.
