Voltage Veyeral's Event
I was a day late, but It's time to add the final event for the Veyeral Quartet! This is one of the most complex events in the entire game. With the exception of Sentinel's Quiz, there are just so many things that can happen and reactions to those things. In fact, I didn't actually get to finish every part of it I had planned yet, but I do want to have it out there to see if I need to rebalance anything.
The 2 current Bonding Time events show the range of what I have planned. Half of them will be as simple as the Split Veyeral minigames, while the rest will have more complex interactions like Voltage Veyeral's event. Ultimately, they will all be minigame based though.
This update is a small one, but I have 3 very good excuses. First, this event was really complex to make. Second, there was a few really obscure crashes that were found and I had to fix. Third and most importantly, I've been obsessively playing the great Helldivers 2! But you'll soon find out first hand how obsessed I've really been. Just check out the new event. If you know, you know.
Early Access updated game version to v8.6
Content Added
- 1 new event to discover (Total: 48)
- 1 new dream to fulfill (Total: 709)
Updates and tweaks
- When taking gifts from the Link Synapse, there will be a warning about taking multiple gifts with no stacking effects. This is mostly relevant with the 3 shot activator gifts.
Bug Fixes
- Hitting multiple breakable saw projectiles with an AOE or beam attack would divide damage across them, but that was not intended in this case
- Heliola's burn beams did an unintentional extra 1 point of zap damage
- After loading a suspended run, using a quick gift that added extra monster options could freeze the game
- It was possible to soft lock the game in the Check Heart menu if you mash a bunch of buttons during events
Upcoming Stuff
There were no new monsters this time, and I want to finish at least 1 more Bonding Time event before I go back to boss battles.
These are all the remaining monsters in the order that I will make them. (Not their actual names)
- The Blue Heart
- The Orange Heart
- The Purple Heart
- The Special Heart
- A Common Veyeral
- Shamble Tower Boss
- Guardian Tower Boss
- Glyph Tower Boss
- Zaramech Tower Boss
- Glass Flora Tower Boss
- Veyeral Tower Boss
Crossed out 1 more event off the list (14 to go)
- Sandrome
- Voladrome
- Shanx
- Dedrohai
- Lavalin
- Chionotoh
- Ventra
- Dot
- Kiwi
- Storm Veyeral
- Molten Veyeral

I'm scheduling the next update (v8.7) for March 15th! I'm going to finish another event for that and spend any leftover time on more events (If there is any leftover time). Otherwise, I want to go back to bosses for the update after that (v8.8).
Thank you for playing!
