Hey Heroes,
Welcome to the second Heroes’ Hall, a weekly community update from the team here at Heliocentric Studios!
This week we will brief you brave heroes on 10 of the foes you’ll battle on your adventures. Pay close attention - this information could save you from croaking before you get that sweet dungeon loot!

We’d also like to take these opportunities to answer your questions, so feel free to pop a question in the comments section and we’ll endeavor to answer them in the following week’s post for all to see.
Now then, let’s get stuck into the beastly section of our hero handbook!
Wraith
Cloaked in shadow the Wraiths hate the light, if torches are lit near a Wraith they'll fire beams of energy to snuff them out. Time a sword swing at the Wraiths projectiles and deflect it back to do serious damage.

Zap Jelly
Floating through the air like their brethren of the sea, the Zap Jelly rides fields of electric energy. When in groups they charge up creating arcs of electricity between them.

Tendron
Hunters of opportunity, Tendrons hide in plain site as local flora, get too close or try to pick them up and they'll reveal themselves lashing out quickly to secure their prey before it can escape its rooted position. Try to fire arrows from a distance and it'll smack them out of the air handily.

Skull Spear
The shielded warriors of the skeleton armada that litter the dungeons and haunted hills. Time your hits when they're exposed or go around back for a sneak attack to get around their formidable shields. Use the grappling hook to pull their shield away leaving them exposed for all attacks.

Rock Golem
Watch out for rock formations in cliff walls as they may just be a Rock Golem in disguise! Rock Golems are loose collections of stone held together with magic energy! Watch out - they toss their hands long distances to send a powerful punch towards their enemies.

Lost Traveler
The remains of the unfortunate inhabitants that fled towards the swamp. The Lost Travelers succumbed to the spores that cover the swamp and became their living pollinators. Get too close to a traveler and its pressure will rise before it bursts spreading its payload. Breath it in and you'll get temporary confusion, making it difficult to move in the correct direction.

Mimic
A predator that lies in wait and hides itself in plain sight as familiar objects. Open a helpful chest and you might just be unleashing a Mimic. Be careful of their powerful slam attacks and take a mimic down to get the riches it took from its stolen vessel.

Nostroc
Oversized crustaceans that roam the beaches of the south west. The Nostroc bury themselves under the sand burrowing through it like a hasty mole. Get too close to their digging path and they'll burst out to attack. The Nostroc throw heavy jabs so try not to engage with too many at once.

Mud Lurker
Living mounds of mud that roam the swamps, the Mud Lurkers hide among the deep mud spreading their form to become one with their surroundings. When angered they reform and hold shape to defend their home.

Grazer
Native creatures of Tasos, the Grazer is content around the dungeons monsters but finds people to be a threat to their habitat. They need to eat 30 lbs. of grasses each day and will charge you out of their grazing spots without a second thought!

Heroes, that concludes our first instalment of foes that you will bump into either in the land or spelunking dungeons. We’ll be going over more of the monsters that you will encounter in another Heroes’ Hall.
This week we didn’t have any questions from community heroes, but we did get a very nice message about the game in Portuguese, thanks Ximira!
See you again next week heroes!
