Hello all, here is an update for everyone. Valve still hasn't approved the release of Wangan Warrior X..... seems they are nitpicking every little thing about the game, while games like Fidget Spinner 2018 (that spam achievements mind you) get put on the store everyday full of bugs.. (shrug)
What do you mean by alternate release?
Since Valve is being a pain for what seems no reason, I want to still get the game out as soon as possible. So I'll be providing an "alternate release" meaning I'm going to post Wangan Warrior X on GameJolt, Itchi.io, and GOG. You will be able to purchase the game there and play it all you want on a DRM free version that will differ a bit from the Steam version.
What about the Steam Release?
Once Valve finally approves Wangan Warrior X for release the Steam version will be posted to you all and another announcement will be made regarding this.
Do I have to purchase Wangan Warrior X twice?
Simple answer. NO. Upon purchasing via GameJolt, Itch.io, or GOG you should be provided with a receipt, invoice number, order number, or some other valid proof of the transaction. All you need to do is send this proof of purchase in to our email [email protected] with your Steam profile link. Once we've confirmed your purchase with one of the digital distributors we will provide you with a Wangan Warrior X key for Steam that is immediately redeemable (but not yet playable until release day). This means as soon as you get your key from us (within 24-48 hours of submitting purchase proof) you can redeem your key on Steam and Wangan Warrior X will be in your game library ready to play on the day of official release.

All purchase proofs and Steam Keys are recorded in real time using a system that I input data into manually. This system will notify me of any charge-back or refunds from the digital distributors. In addition, any attempts to sell keys on gray market sites like G2A will immediately be blacklisted and you will not receive a refund for attempting to resell digital goods that you do not have the rights to.
