What's next? #2

Hello! In this post I will talk about what the foreseeable future holds in terms of content for Game Dev Studio.

#1 - Addition of a MMO game project. These projects will require the presence of server racks stored in separate rooms, and will have unique MMO-specific game tasks. In order to create a MMO that people will play for a long time, you'll need to select tasks which work best with the genre you choose for it. Not all genres are guaranteed to work well in a MMO environment, so don't expect to make an unconventional MMO game and have it sell well!

#2 - More tweaks to the game's balance. With Update #9, the balance was tweaked again to make for a more challenging late game, and less-exploitable game conventions. However there are still some things which make the game too easy once you get enough employees. This will be addressed.

#3 - Creating your own platforms (consoles). Since the work amount required for this feature is the greatest of all things listed in this post, you can expect this feature to be released last.

#4 - Spanish translation. A community member has offered help with translating the game, and you can expect to see the addition of this language in the near future.

The features mentioned in this post will be done out-of-order and released one-by-one when they're ready. In terms of new gameplay mechanics, you can expect the addition of a MMO game project to happen first, and platform creation to be last. Right now my focus is set on adding the MMO game project option, but before I get on with it, I'd like to work on a couple more quality of life additions first.

Further balance tweaks, bug and crash fixes are going to be the first things that will be addressed.
