Developer Note: We have observed players on the test server over the weekend and evaluated the feedback provided through our official community channels (Discord, Steam, Facebook etc.) regarding the latest changes. Based on all your valuable input, we have decided to go for another round of weapon balancing, winding back on some of the changes introduced to the test server last week that many of you have perceived as being too harsh.
We also added a set of different new weapon changes, that were originally intended for the next big 3.0 update, and are introducing them on the test server now to help us resolve some of the current problems in the meta. We understand that weapon balance is a tricky and often highly emotional topic for our community. However, it is important for us to test the waters by introducing sometimes controversial changes and see how the community reacts.
Being an early access game, Hunt: Showdown is still changing constantly with every new feature and update, and will continue to do so in the future. Sometimes, the full extent or some of these changes will only really show across multiple updates, each introducing a small part of it. Please bear with us as we are trying to make this the best experience for both new players and veterans alike, and help us by going on the test server to try the latest changes out for yourself!
Thank you for all your ongoing support and precious feedback!
