We’re back live on the Test Server with a few changes after the initial feedback we gathered over the weekend.
Instead of the custom profiles, where everybody was playing on Rank 67 with 6666$ starting money, we now copied over your profiles to allow you to play with your actual Hunters. Don’t worry about losing your Hunters on the Test Server as you won’t lose them on live. It’s a cloned profile, which might result in some loadouts being invalid due to the new inventory system changes.
As a consequence, whenever an invalid loadout has been detected, the problematic weapon is removed from its slot and added back to your arsenal. Make sure you equip new gear for the Hunters affected by this before you join a game! There is one known issue right now: If you have the Quartermaster trait, it will not force unequip the second, now invalid main weapon. We plan on fixing this for the next update.
We’ve also added 4000$ extra to your test accounts to make up for the issues some of you encountered where you lost Hunters due to crashes and disconnects. When the full patch is released on live, we plan on doing the same for your actual live profiles, kick-starting some players.
On to the changelog…
Gameplay
Fixed heavy melee attacks sometimes not consuming stamina
Weapon rebalancing: We fixed a bug that resulted in many weapons killing players with full 150 health in one shot. This should only happen from 125 remaining health and below. Basically, no rifle besides the Nitro Express Rifle should kill a player with full health in one body hit. Of course headshots remain lethal with all weapons like before. Sorry for the inconvenience this caused on the test server over the weekend.
Damage of the Nagant 1895 Silencer has been increased slightly, but it still requires you to get closer to enemies than on the current live version
Decoys do less damage against players and AI now, but a good hit to the head can still do some severe damage
Fixed DOF switch timing for scoped weapons
Vetterli Deadeye now has increased spread over the base version
