I want to share with you the latest update before launching Alpha 1.
You all remember that January 29 we published a post with detected bugs and planned improvements to Alpha 1.
So, it's time to draw conclusions:
Bugs:
The problems with reconnecting. -Passed the internal test
The problems of transferring the host to another one. -Passed the internal test
Some game settings do not work. -Passed the internal test
Sometimes players can become immortal. -Passed the internal test
Sometimes the physics of items does not work correctly. -OK. We will constantly improve physics
Item dropping works incorrectly. -Fixed
The animation of the player may not work correctly. -OK. We will constantly improve animations
Some sounds are not synchronized. -Now synchronized
Incorrect physics of doors. -Fixed
Improvements:
Adding blood. -OK
Filling the location. -OK. LORE pieces will be added later
Special illumination of infected survivors for ghouls. -OK
Shaking the camera when receiving damage. -OK
Hitbox improvements. -OK
Animations of ghouls improvements. -Improved. We will constantly improve animations
Loot generation improvements. -OK
Visual improvement of ghouls skills. -OK
Light improvements on the location. -OK
Weapon's spread improvements. -OK
Shot particles improvements. -OK
Optimization improvements. -OK. We will continue to optimize
Still in work:
Adding an in-game chat.
Adding ambient sounds.
Statistics display at the end of the round.
Player waiting interface.
Objects must fly off when fired at them.
Various improvements of the game interface.
Adding a link to Bug Report.
Despite all this, most likely you will find a huge number of bugs. I want to remind you that this is Alpha 1 :).
We will inform you about the start time of Alpha a little later. Most likely, this will happen at 11 PM on February 9, in the Pacific Standard Time.
