So what's coming in 1.0?
Since we've been quiet for a while, let me list some of the things we've been up to. To be clear, these aren't in the Early Access build, but they will drop in 1.0, coming Soon (TM) to Steam:
- Optimization, optimization and MORE optimization! Frankie is now butter smooth at high frame rates even if you're running it on a potato.
- More video quality settings, including an Ultra setting with so many postprocessing effects that you won't even see the bots anymore
- New workshop, including upgrades and some new parts
- Improved enemies (behavior and models)
- I can neither confirm nor deny that we have been working on console ports and may or may not release a console version at the same time as the Steam release
Those are some of the bigger ones, but there are lots of smaller things that we fixed and polished to create the best robot-smashing experience you can get.
When is 1.0 coming out?
Huh, it must have slipped my mind. Oh yeah, it's coming Soon (TM). No, really, we may or may not have been delaying for an unconfirmed console port but it's nearly there and coming... well, you know. We do appreciate all your patience and once again thank all of you who supported us in Early Access.
