A new patch has been released on all three versions which improves the Temporary Raft based on the feedback received. You no longer need to be in the water when placing a Temporary Raft. Facing the water's edge from the shore will allow you to safely place/board your raft with no risk of drowning. Another update will be releasing today with additional improvements.

Just a small announcement to let people know that an update will be dropping within 24 hours which should hopefully alleviate some of the concerns that have been expressed in the reviews. The update will release for the English version first.

I will avoid responding to steam reviews directly but in saying that, if you do run into any sort of bugs, please consider posting them in the forums first so they can be fixed ASAP.
One of the reviews states that in the Russian version, within 20 minutes there were numerous bugs. To confirm this, I had decided to load a live Broadcast of the Russian version. Ultimately, I could not pinpoint what the reviewer was referencing, so please, try and post your issues in the forums so I can also have a look. If there are translation issues within the Russian and Simplified Chinese version, it would also be appreciated if I could get a heads up.
This game has essentially been worked on by one person. Translation included. If there are any discrepancies within the translated versions, I do truly apologize and will strive to fix them ASAP. The game should be completely playable with the current translations but I'm happy to improve them if need be.
I just also wanted to add that, in regards to spawning on Mutiny Island, there's MULTIPLE WAYS to leave the area. If you find yourself struggling to make your way of the starting region, usually a RUM TRAFFICKER or a PIRATE will appear within a day or two to offer you some assistance. You can also craft a raft, steal a raft, or even try to island hop.
