Solenars Edge's story is quite massive and you cannot simply grasp it in one simple playthrough of Solenars Edge Rebirth. I will in short explain to you the order of the lore in the correct form.
Starting off the story is Solenars Edge: Balthus Requiem. Which is a prequel explaining the origins of Balthus and his journey alongside old legendary friends.
Next up is Luvocious: Fantasy. The story centers around the Princess of Almachia named Yuki. Without going into any major spoilers, this story bridges the gap between Balthus Requiem and the start of Solenars Edge Rebirth.
Next is Solenars Edge Rebirth: Which is the main game in the story that has a whole ton of lore within it and you get to meet and know the story of Alcornagia and the characters.
Lastly the series ends with Solenars Edge II: Aurora of The Seventh Dawn.
A 80-90 page short story about another world that introduces a plethora of new characters and brings back old ones. Yes it is a sequel and yes it could become a playable game. But I cannot create it as their isn't enough support or desire for it, so the short story does finish it in a good way as an Alternative. *Also to Note* The story is based off the original appearences of the characters in Solenars Edge, not the remakes in Solenars Edge Rebirth.
Also on another note:
These games are discontinued and will never be released and are non-cannon if you ever find a copy floating around on the internet.

Important Info:
I want to uhm make something clear about the game's grammar. There is a disclaimer in the game's folder about it. When I originally made the game all those years ago, my education wasn't all that great. I was constantly up all day till like 3 am combating bugs with the scripts. So having a fully functional game that got you to start to finish was way more important to me then changing the grammar. Unfortunately, I did lose the original files of the game in a crash some time ago on an older PC. Which means, I cannot update the game any further even if I wanted to. Hopefully one day this can be recovered, but I wouldn't count on it. What matters is that the game is fully functional and beatable. If it wasn't, it would be pulled from the steam store no questions asked. I only price my games as what I think they are worth. But Solenars Edge Rebirth IMO is worth about 9.99 at best, but I didn't want to charge people more then what they thought it was worth. Restoration would be criminal to charge it more then 3.99 considering it's length. Luvocious is a game worth 19.99 and was very expensive to make. However, the sales are very bad and uhm I can't do much at the moment for the price as I am restricted with steam's rules. Anywho, these games aren't perfect, how good they are is dependant on the player and how much he/she enjoys them. The bottom line is this: I created these games for RPG fans to enjoy, by myself with limited funds and resources. These games may not be top-of-the-line, but they are most certaintly made with your enjoyment in mind.
