Onward to the future : “Shirina” and “Dark Fairies” are my last RPG Maker games.

I had come to the decision to no longer develop short visual novels with RPG Maker. Instead, all my future projects will be made in Twine.

Why?
1. With Twine, I can write better stories, with more character development, while also adding easy achievements. (I said “easy”, not “spammy”. ^^)
2. I find it easier to work with Twine and I had more fun developing with this engine.
3. Both “Les Quatre Alices (The Four Alices)” and “A.L.A.N.” had been remade in Twine since their storylines needed improvement. The same will surely happen with “Dark Fairies” & “Shirina”.

Then, why continuing to do RPG Maker games if, every single time, I had to redo them in Twine to ‘’fix’’ the stories? This also forces the customer to pay twice for a similar product, in a way, and I really don’t like that. So, no more RPG Maker, onward to the future with Twine!

Important: This doesn’t mean that I think that “Shirina”, “Dark Fairies”, “A.L.A.N.” and “Les Quatre Alices” are crappy games. They aren’t and I’m happy to have developed them. ːsteamhappyː

I also wish to thank everyone for your support. I’ll see you soon with a Twine story! (Probably a remake that mixes the universes of “Dark Fairies” with “Shirina”…)
