I decided to release the next version early, even though I haven't resolved the updside-down texture bug yet. I am still waiting to use a computer that has this bug on it.
Things I did add, however, include a compass pointing north. Since people give you cardinal directions in the dialogue, there should be a compass in the HUD.
I also added support for the Numpad keys in the control settings, which I do not have on my laptop.
There are also many other script fixes that you can see in the Updates text file. The Eyes of the Beast spell now works, letting you control hounds and demons, and the Control Android function on terminals now works as well. There are also some more script fixes for side objectives.
I should have a 1.9B out as soon as I fix the upside-down textures. Then I'm gonna take a break for a couple weeks before 2.0, which will include the world editor and a sample DLC challenge.
Unfortunately, I need to increase the max objects per map. I forgot about digital hoarders who like to collect every banana in the game and stash them in their abode. In order to increase the max objects, I will have to change the saving source code, which means old saves will not be compatible with 2.0. That is still a few weeks away, though, and I think the main story file is pretty much bug-free.
