Outbreak: The New Nightmare is now available and will be 40% off through July 5th! This is the absolute BEST TIME to grab the game as you can get the entire experience for around $7.19 right now. Once you buy, you'll continue to get the remaining core content for the game as it releases over the next year, which includes new scenarios, weapons, characters, items, enemies and much more.
So grab it now and tell your friends, because it won't be this cheap for quite some time. As new content is added to the game, the price will continue to rise until it hits the full release price once all content is complete.
Blackout Scenario
Experience the horrors as you fight for your life in pitch black darkness. Featuring a new flashlight mechanic, this bonus mode tasks you with fighting powerful monsters to escape the building. Carefully search rooms for powerful weapons and ensure you're prepared before fighting the final fiend. A true callback to classic survival horror with dark atmosphere!
What's next?
We're now starting work on the second location, which will be the city streets outside of Kraus Shipping Industries. After your escape of the building, you'll have to fend off waves of the undead while you navigate an urban jungle with killers on the loose. You'll see the aftermath of the city as it burns with the dead roaming the streets.
We don't have an estimate on when this new location will be available yet, but you can likely expect it towards the end of the summer if we stay on track.
But what about in the mean time?
In the mean time, we're going to continue to review community feedback, provide bugs and enhancements and support the game. We're actively reading the forums and recording what folks want to see most, so please be vocal in the threads. Just in the last patch, we've added the ability to scroll and zoom the map which was highly requested! There's also the Blackout scenario, which brings forward a terrifying dark environment with a new flashlight mechanic.
