And this is just the beginning. We have a long list of planned enhancements, content, fixes and more scheduled for the game over the next year. We may not always keep this break neck cadence of patches, but we'll try to keep them regular and pointed towards community feedback.
The Next Scenario
We're in the planning stages for the next location, the City Streets. We have the basic concept for the area laid out and now we're going to be putting it together over the next two months or so. We don't have a firm ETA for when it will launch, but the goal will be sometime around the end of summer. When it releases, it will contain a new Campaign mission, a new Onslaught scenario and a fun Experiments scenario on the side (that will not just be Blackout again!). Stay tuned for updates!
Upcoming Major Enhancements
The next major enhancement we'll be working on will be the progression and perk systems. We're currently designing out the specifics, but these systems will give you a sense of progression for each individual character. As you gain experience, you'll unlock new skills, perks, attributes and other goodies to assist you in your adventures. These will be key to making survival on harder difficulties like Biohazard possible. BUT DON'T PANIC - These will be subtle buffs and perks will sometimes carry a toll for their benefits. You won't simply become a walking tank.
We'll have more information on those enhancements in the coming weeks!
Steam Sale
We're in the final hours to grab Outbreak: The New Nightmare and Outbreak at great prices. Once the sale ends, they're going back up to full price for a nice lengthy stretch. So grab your friends and ensure everyone has a copy before the sale ends!
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone for playing, supporting and offering feedback for the game. We're very excited to continue building out the experience with the community and the best is yet to come! Thank you!
