FLOPS:
One of the game's basic feature in Memories of Mars are FLOPS. The acronym stands for Floating Point Operations Per Second. Generally speaking, FLOPS are a universal type of “currency” in our game. You need it for character progression, crafting, for your base upkeep, and various other things. FLOPS can be obtained in different ways, i.e. by scavenging and/or killing some monsters. Another great way to obtain FLOPS is participating in the in-game events aka FLOP events.
In-game events:
In Memories of Mars we are taking a different approach when it comes to in-game events to make these more interesting. These events which happen occasionally on the surface are a great way to obtain FLOPS. Players will converge and try to survive these events and thereby collect FLOPS. There are multiple ways to collect FLOPS, but beware because other players can rob, kill and loot your FLOPS.
