Version 1.0.6 of Vinyl Reality has been released just in time for the weekend.
This update focuses on polishing existing features, and improving the overall performance of the application.
One of the biggest improvement is the addition of the “Minimize Master Output Delay” option in the advanced audio settings panel. Enabling this option should reduce the delay between the default and master audio outputs to a minimum, making it possible to mix using the speakers as a reference.
The turntable code has been completely rewritten to make it more robust, and to fix the issue where the playback position of records would drift. A small arrow has been added to the record label, which points to the turntable’s needle, when at the start of a track.
A lot of other code has also been rewritten, to make it easier to add new upcoming features. If I have done my job well, none of these code changes should not be noticeable, but in case you should encounter a new bug, be sure to report it.
