Patch 0.2.4a

Changes

  • General
    • Added option to disable combat health bars in the gameplay settings
    • Reduced the fogginess of water
    • Reduced paragraph history in chat to 100 (previously 300)
    • Added a key that will pick up items near your character

  • Quests

    • Altered the Halloween quest text and dialogue to be slightly less vague
    • Adjusted the Level, XP and Gold values for the Halloween quest

  • Spells

    • Any spell that has a cast time will now automatically face your target
    • Reduced threat generated from status effects

  • Dungeons

    • Cave of Shrooms
      • Remodelled the dungeon tiles so they fit together properly, look better and are more performant


Fixes

  • General
    • Fixed Tertiary Action Bar saving issues
    • Fixed an issue with guards attacking PvP players without reason
    • Enemies will now clear debuffs when they reset
    • Enemies are now immune to status effects while returning to their aggro position
    • Fixed issue that would prevent players from getting a kill count achievement if the achievement was added after they had already reached the required kill amount
    • Fixed an issue with changing camera rotation button
    • Moved the casting / fatigue / air UI bars up so they aren't obstructed by the third action bar

  • Spells

    • Fixed Whirlwind and Blade Dance damage
    • Holy Barrier's absorb amount will now properly be refreshed if it is cast on a target that still has the buff active

  • Quests

    • Fixed a text error on 'Defeat the One Eyed Bandit' quest (Ohh.. East? I thought you said Weest!)

Player misbehaving in chat?

We want to remind everyone there are rules in place regarding behavior around Tale of Toast.
Type /rules when entering the game to see the rules, but one of the most important rules are:
Respect fellow users: Insulting, Harassment, hatespeech, raging arguments, etc is not tolerated.

If you spot a player misbehaving, do Not engage. Ignore them (click on the name and hit ignore), and then press the same player and the "Report" button.
This will send the chat over to our in-game moderators, who will then look into the issue.
