Multiplayer Development Is Nearing Completion!

Real-Time Multiplayer Is Almost Here!

We’re excited to share that development of real-time 1v1 multiplayer for Cartoon Craft is now nearing completion.

We recently completed our first full multiplayer tests using two separate computers. Both players were able to build their bases, produce units, command their armies, and fight each other on the same battlefield in real time.

What’s Working Now

  • Two-player real-time battles
  • Separate Human and Orc armies
  • Base construction and resource gathering
  • Unit production and combat
  • Match lobby and army selection

What We’re Working On

The main multiplayer systems are now working, but there are still a few important tasks remaining before the feature is ready. We are currently focusing on:

  • Improving synchronization and network stability
  • Fixing multiplayer-specific bugs
  • Polishing the interface and match flow
  • Testing gameplay balance
  • Making battles easier to understand and follow

Multiplayer is still in development, so some visuals, rules, and interface elements shown in the video may change.

Watching two armies controlled by real players clash for the first time was an exciting milestone for us. We’ll continue testing and polishing the mode, and we look forward to sharing more progress soon.

Thank you for following the development of Cartoon Craft!
