This update applies only to windows users, for now.
Linux users can take a look at the workaround or alternatives described at https://www.alienarena.org
It's now possible to very easily download and install 3rd party maps hosted on https://www.alienarena.org by just using the installmap command from the console in the game.
Next to this, all game operations are now hosted on alienarena.org, also irc moved to irc.alienarena.org. You shouldn't notice any difference regarding these changes.
Also some bugs have been fixed:
- Downloading maps is using the http protocol again instead of udp, so much faster downloading.
- The newsfeed is working again.
- The old obsolete in-game stats have been removed.
