The suit that the spawn is wearing was issued for pioneers and settlers that needed long periods of autonomy. It regulates body temperature, grants additional strength with nanomotors and handles nutrition and water recycling.

All vegetation on Irid Novo has been artificially engineered to thrive under very unnatural conditions. You can see the synthetic design if you look closely.
