Controller Support In Progress
(Possibly for the next week)
So some good news! We can plug in a controller, run around in the game and use some of the UI. The bad news is, it is crazy buggy and renders some parts of the game unplayable even without the controller, yikes. This feature will require extensive testing, and during this time we cannot patch the game, but if you guys can hold out for a week we will have controller support!
Slow down on certain bug reports at this time
Now I don't want to discourage bug reports, but... we know the animals, trees, and multiplayer are buggy and getting the same reports over and over again is giving me a bit of anxiety knowing that I already wrote them down and we cannot fix them at this time. We're going to make changes to the animal AI so the pooping, building clipping, floating, etc. will be fixed. We're going to do some more tests with multiplayer so we don't get that weird T-pose glitch and other multiplayer bugs.
All other bug reports are fine, but for animals, trees, and multiplayer, if you see someone mentioning any bugs related to those, please help us out and just let them know, we know about the bugs, we're currently in the middle of a big feature implementation and we will fix them as soon as we're done in roughly 1 week.
If you have an emergency like your game is corrupted, or have a bug renders the game 100% unplayable, definitely always report and let us know and we would like to troubleshoot with you.
In the meanwhile
Now just because we can't make any fresh pumpkin patches doesn't mean that development has slowed down. While Jayden is handling the technical aspects of the game I'm going to use this opportunity to work on other things. I need to polish up models, fix typos, fix clipping, update some graphics, add new furniture, etc. So hopefully the next patch will be a big update.
In regards to bugs, I hope the community can help other players find workarounds for them, maybe avoid certain features of the game. The Generalsav.sav backups are your best friend etc.
Chat support added to the website
So I'm testing out this new chat support on our website where visitors can chat with me directly (when I'm online). Some players aren't on Discord and that's fine, so here is another outlet to chat with us. I hope no one abuses it, as it's intended to be used if someone has an emergency and needs us to help them out immediately. Any bug reports should just be reported on the forums, discord, or steam community.
Thank you guys so much for your support. Again, give us about 1 week to get everything sorted out.
