Player

  • Players will no longer stand back up during the death screen if killed by an explosive barrel
  • Fixed Small Storage item which was not being removed from the player’s inventory when placed
  • Players can now remap WSAD key bindings in the settings menu
  • Fixed several occurrences which caused players to get locked in their inventory while looting (one very rare occurrence remains but is known and will be dealt with)
  • Fixed issue where player would hover above the ground when dismounting a quad
  • Player will no longer posses the Harpy eagle after unpossesing if not intending to

NPCs/AI

  • Significant optimisation of Wanderer NPCs. AI structure has been completely restructured for performance improvements
  • Fixed issue where players were unable to loot from some fallen NPCs if their bodies had ragdolled away from the location where they died
  • The loot icon now appears no matter which part of an NPC’s body is being looked at
  • Fixed issue where projectiles would not be registered by NPCs that had been previously knocked down by the ATV
  • Fixed issue where Wanderers animations would jitter if you shot near them while they were moving
  • Fixed issue preventing mercenary NPCs from being looted
  • Increased despawn time on NPC corpses
  • Fixed navigation properties of several physics gates which would not allow NPCs though even while open
  • Tweaked location of spawn points on Lockcrest to reduce the chances of Wanderers spawning in inappropriate places

Game

  • New manned guard towers on Lockcrest
  • The lighthouse door on Lockcrest can now be properly opened from the inside
  • Some problematic doors which would open the wrong way have been fixed
  • Adjusted starting area of Lockcrest to ensure play does not get stuck on any geometry after spawning
  • Fixed issue where player’s game would not save when using a Sleeping bag item
  • Sleeping bag now sets the players spawn location and saves when placed (no need to press ‘F’ key, except to save the game again at a later time)
  • Fixed several rock types which did not have correct collision properties
  • Fixed issues with placement of the Can Trap item
  • Amendments have been made to how the player dismounts the ATV to prevent issues
  • Fixed an issue where the camera would get pushed in to the character while riding the ATV
  • Fixed some incorrect collisions between projectiles and the ATV
  • Lockcrest Prototype level now features up-to-date bespoke background music for Jaws Of Extinction

Co-op Level (currently private access)

  • Possessable objects (e.g. ATV, harpy eagle) have had a significant restructure for co-op friendly usage
  • Fixed issue preventing Wanderer movement when clients moved away from server
  • Additional fixes for projectile impact particle effects for clients
  • Additional fixes for projectile sound effects for clients
  • Many more map and objective updates for co-op
