Hi everyone,
This week I have been busy with various non-development related stuff. Startup Company is attending the Steam Winter Sales with a 20% discount (first discount ever). I hope to see a lot of new players joining us in the next days :-)
The devlogs gives a sneak peek into what have been developed on the game for the past week. It is not a new release and is not available yet. New features are always released as official Beta releases.
Changes this week
🔵 Resolved issue where contract number was shown as NaN.
🔵 Fixed broken linebreaks in Russian localization.
🔵 Optimized savegames dialog for French wording.
🔵 Updated topbar to respect time format.
🔵 Resolved issue where manager could be controlled by multiple HR managers
🔵 Added transaction for taking out new loan.
🔵 Optimized new product dialog for Big UI.
🔵 Resolved issue causing efficiency improvement requirements being shown wrongly (didn't multiply for every 10th percentage).
🔵 Updated the game to respect custom Windows "Saved Games" path.
🔵 Completed translations for both Russian and Chinese.
🔵 Resolved issue where balance didn't update when buying/selling stocks.
Team Feature
I'm still working on the "Team Feature". Basically it will add a new tab to the manager called "Production". Here you will be able to define minimum stock limits for all components and modules. The manager automatically use his team to target these numbers. Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot, as I had to discard my first concept. Hopefully I can show something next week :-)
Activity Log
I'm planning on getting rid of the current notification system and instead implement an activity log. The problem with notifications is that they are easy to ignore and impossible to restore. The activity log will be a permanent box in the top left corner.
