Hi people! The first public version 0.6 is already available.
Additions & improvements
- The first version of computer rental has been implemented. You can rent them in a normal store. Temporarily in this version only the first month is charged, that is, at the time of purchase. When the hardware system is implemented in the game, the player will be able to decide the specifications of the machine to be rented. When a machine is rented, an email will be sent to the player with the instructions to access it. Only the root user will exist on this machine. Remember that you can create more users with the adduser command.
- Added "recent websites" in the browser to find the websites created by the players in their rented servers.
- Created system that allows you to configure and launch bounce connections from the map.
- The services and multiplayer missions have been modified so that the servers rented by the player are used for these missions.
- Added nslookup command to know the ip address from a web address.
- Improved permissions system.
- ssh and ftp clients are installed on all computers by default.
- World generation adjustments.
BugFixes
- Fixed Academic Missions where the StudentsViewer crash in some situations, preventing the player from completing the mission.
- Fixed installation of services in remote computers.
- Fixes to useradd and userdel commands.
- It is not allowed to register in the mail or bank with an empty username and / or password.
- Fixed bug for which the changes of the bank at the moment of buying items, renting servers or charging missions were not saved in the database and lost after game server restart.
- Game server memory optimization
Next v0.6 updates
In the next updates I will include the possibility that players update versions of their installed services.
I'm also working on a Tutorial. It really is not going to be a guided system, but there are going to be explanations of different systems existing in the game, such as programs, mechanics, etc., shown in a more enjoyable way than the Manual. The manual will continue to exist despite the implementation of the tutorial.
Thanks to everyone for your feedback!
Happy hacking!
