Here are new additions to the game, planned for the near future.
[Early December]
- Obtain a Legendary Duelist Yami Marik will return! Obtain a card of unparalleled strength by completing the event! "Hmm... Maybe it's time for you to witness this card!"
[Mid December]
- Obtain a Legendary Duelist An all new Duel-A-Thon is coming! Fill up your Duel Meter to unlock a new character! "Try not to scream... A real spook is coming your way!"
- An Event Exclusive Legendary Duelist is Coming to the Gate! The next addition to the Gate will be Yami Bakura! Both new players and players who missed out on unlocking Yami Bakura before will now be able to challenge and unlock him at the Gate! In addition, more event exclusive Legendary Duelists will be added in the future.
[Late December]
- Obtain a Legendary Duelist A new chapter of Duelist Chronicles is coming! Battle City Begins! Duel your way through Domino City to obtain Reward cards and a new character! "You're all invited to a show... A show of nightmares that is! Let Battle City begin!"
[Early January]
- A new character is coming to Duel Links! A certain Legendary Duelist will appear in Duel World! "All I desire... is victory!"
Various campaigns including Gifts and Gem giveaways are planned for mid January, in celebration of the 1 year anniversary the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" global launch.
In addition, a Tag Duel Event is coming late January!

[Other Updates for January]
- Improvement to Deck Editor screen transitions
- Implementation of a button that allows players to switch between Duel Worlds without having to enter the character select screen.
In addition to the events mentioned above, there will be campaigns, new cards added, and updates to various features.
To create an even better experience for our players, we will continue to add new content and work out balancing issues.
