The long-anticipated ZEXAL world is finally here! A powerful new form of Summoning called “Xyz Summoning” has arrived in Duel Links, and we’re celebrating with a bunch of free in-game cards and items! Check out the rewards you’ll receive for logging in during the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign!
Lead Your Forces Into Battle With Zubaba General!
Acquire your first Xyz Monster in Duel Links right away by logging in to get a Prismatic Zubaba General! Xyz Monsters are black-framed monsters that you can Special Summon from your Extra Deck by using monsters on your field as materials. The monsters used to Summon an Xyz Monster become Xyz Materials that attach to the Summoned Xyz Monster. Unlike other monsters, Xyz Monsters have “Ranks” instead of “Levels”. Different Xyz Monsters require different materials to Summon them, but an Xyz Monster’s Rank usually matches the Level of the monsters used to Xyz Summon it.
Take a look at Zubaba General, for example. You can Summon this Rank 4 monster from your Extra Deck by combining any 2 Level 4 monsters. Those 2 monsters become Xyz Materials attached to Zubaba General, and you can use those Xyz Materials to fuel its effect. By sending an Xyz Material attached to Zubaba General to the Graveyard, you can equip your Zubaba General with a Warrior-Type monster from your hand. Zubaba General starts with 2000 ATK, but gains ATK equal to the total ATK of all monsters equipped to it. That means its effect will easily let you raise its ATK to 4000 and above so that you can wipe out your opponent with a single attack!
Go Gaga Over Gagagaga Magician!
Monsters that can change their Levels are the most flexible in helping to perform an Xyz Summon. That’s what makes Gagaga Magician an impressive card in the ZEXAL era. Gagaga Magician is a Level 4 monster to start, but its effect lets you change its Level to any Level between 1 and 8 inclusive. That makes it useful for Xyz Summoning monsters from Ranks 1 through 8. You’ll receive a Prismatic UR Gagaga Magician just for logging in during the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign!
New Game Mat and Sleeves!
Duelists logging in during the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign will also receive an exclusive new Game Mat featuring Yuma Tsukumo, Astral, and Yami Yugi. Yuma Tsukumo and Astral are the main protagonists of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL series, so using this new Game Mat is the perfect way to show off your enthusiasm for the release of ZEXAL world. Matching Card Sleeves featuring those same characters are also available as a reward for logging in.
FREE Gems and Dream Tickets!
As part of the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign, Duelists that log in will receive 1000 free Gems as well as an UR and SR Dream Ticket. You can use these Gems to get booster packs from the shop, including packs of the 30th Main BOX that includes the iconic Number 39: Utopia Xyz Monster. You can also use them to get the new Structure Deck that features Gagaga Cowboy. The two Dream Tickets can be used to get nearly any Ultra Rare card and Super Rare card previously released in Duel Links, so they’re perfect for helping you finish up a Deck you’ve been working on. In addition, logging in during the ZEXAL world Celebration Campaign will also get you a Prismatic UR Ticket, a regular UR Ticket, a Prismatic SR Ticket, and a regular SR Ticket, which you can use to claim UR and SR cards from a more limited selection.
New Skill Ticket!
Finally, as part of the ZEXAL world Release Celebration Campaign, Duelists that log in will receive a “Skill Ticket” that can be used to give any character a previously available Skill. This is the perfect item to help you get the Skill you want on a specific character without going through the effort of unlocking that Skill.
In addition to all of these log-in freebies, ZEXAL world introduces new characters, new cards, and a whole new place to explore. Check it out and start Xyz Summoning powerful monsters right away!
