Obscure Realm: Additional Help, Phase 1
Additional Help: I was looking for help with developing Obscure Realm and then I had a few people come to me saying they could help. Yes, they gave some good ideas for art and etc but I could tell they are just 'Idea Men' (Idea Men are people who just sit around giving ideas without real effort in making those ideas come to light/happen) and they wanted to take my game for themselves. This sucks. So now if someone does in fact want to help develop this game with me then they need to tell me exactly what they want to do in detail instead of a vague idea. Thank you.
Phase 1: Obscure Realm's first area of the game has been remade (as far as I want you to play anyways), the sewer area is playable to those who would like to. At the same time I am looking for those who would like to help just look over the game, give small ideas about what could be better, changed, or added. If you would like to have access to this please feel free to message me for access to this. I will be using GameJolt to do testing. Using the original projects page as a way to see the testing be in use making it so you can play the current version and last years version. Without request you can play last years version but to play this year I need to add you to a list of people so you can download and play at anytime. If this is to hard for you to have a GameJolt account then I do have Dropbox that I can give links to but thats only if its dire.
johns.game:Its been on my mind
Lately, when I have been free, I have been thinking about recreating the engine from scratch for johns.game. This would be a great thing and in turn would revive johns.game to a player base as if everything worked the game would be quite fun. The problem is the game would be oddly different as Locations, Survival, and some Quests would be altered. For the people who have played the Steam Version at least 30 minutes. How would you feel about this change, and for those who just play the working GameJolt version how would you feel if the game was changed fully to Survival with no added mini-games?
