
This months update features considerable improvements to the ground vehicles as well as migrating Capsa to the latest Unreal Engine 4.21 (from 4.19). Ground vehicles have been given significant improvements in the area of braking and jumping behaviour, with general optimizations being done to the back-end functions. We’ve also added a new area to the game found on Tautini island which features various hidden items and vehicle related elements to complete.

Environment
- Added new area featuring farmland and canyon to Tautini island.
- Added cinematic graphics option for enabling/disabling the large fishes (such as sharks, manta rays). By default, this is disabled, enabling this will add a moderate CPU cost.
- Fixed various landscape LOD related issues.
General
- Migrated game to Unreal Engine 4.21 from 4.19.
- Added significant changes to the ground vehicle back-end, optimizing game thread performance slightly.
- Added new braking and handbraking for ground vehicles.
- Added control to toggle high beam headlights for ground vehicles.
- Added reworked mass and torque values for ground vehicles. Vehicles should output similar performance but shifted towards a more realistic value range.
- Added ground vehicle sounds improvements, you can now hear other players engine rpm change.
- Added general improvements to engine shut off of ground vehicles when getting out the vehicle.
- Added improved jumping behaviour for ground vehicles.
- Added improved collisions for ground vehicles.
- Added hidden items to discover in new area.
- Added new super jumps and smashable items in new area.
- Added new achivements for new area's hidden items and challenges.
