Recently, some players are encountering black screen problem, when our game is about to play video, after two quizzes between the protagonists. We have found that one of reasons that caused this is the built-in DirectShow source filter of Windows 7.
If you are using Windows 7, and this problem is blocking you from your game progress, please download and install K-Lite Codec Pack, which should solve your problem. Either Basic, Standard, Full or Mega should do, since they all have a component called LAV Splitter, which could replace the built-in DirectShow source filter of Windows 7 that caused the black screen problem.
Black screen problems on Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10 are probably NOT caused by the same reason. However, let us know if you fixed it by installing K-Lite Codec Pack.
