Early Access is finally here! Update 0.4 is up!

Greetings fellow warriors!

It has been a long and bumpy road, but we are happy to finally announce:
This Friday, the 02.02.18 the game will be published in it's early access phase and will be open for the public to purchase!
We want to thank you, our gamers who supported us along the road. Thank you for all the input and feedback, the great words which gave us motivation to keep going and all the players who believed in us and pre-ordered the game.

Thanks to you, we have added content and tuned the game's balance.
Update 0.4 is up and by so this is going to be the early access build.

This is only the beginning, we will keep on updating and expending the game,
but for that we are going to need your feedback. Every opinion matters!

Update 0.4 Changes:

New Features

  • Introducing “Battle Dice”! – a mini game you can play in the tavern between
  • your arena combats where you can earn extra coins! ($$$)
  • Give your warriors their own unique titles!
  • Warriors now has Steam cards!
  • Many new sounds have been added to the game.
  • End game screen – Players who will finish the game will be forever remembered in our future hall of fame.

Changes

  • You can now skip the post-combat sequence.
  • Text bubbles appear less frequently.
  • Additional information in the spoils of war tooltip
  • Trying to sell a recently bought item will now show a confirmation dialog.
  • Maximum heritage coins cannot exceed your slain warrior’s pre-tax coins.
  • Forfeiting a combat will now result in losing the fight and leaving your fate in the hands of your opponent.
  • Enemies with a higher level than your warrior will challenge you only when you are about to level up.
  • Enemies are now aware of traps, careful not to get pushed to them.
  • When a warrior is hurt from “Spiked Defense” skill, he will no longer trigger a hurt animation.
  • When your warrior dies, he will leave one of his items to your next warrior.
  • Dead Ned’s cutscenes has been improved.

Graphics

  • Skills triggered during combat now have their own effect.
  • Tournament fallen enemies are now more distinguished.
  • When you reach 100% crowd excitement in the tournament, they will throw
  • roses at you!
  • The cliff is now bigger in the loading screen.
  • The arena darkens when you receive a soul point.

Balance

  • The cliff boss has been balanced.
  • Enemies in level 3 now have less money for items.
  • “Eye of the tiger” skill is no longer triggered by kick attack.
  • “Strapped up” skill is a now a level 3 skill, and give you a bonus of 1,2 and 4 arrows instead of 6 arrows.
  • “Rapid Shooter“ skill is now level 5 skill and has a 35% chance to trigger.
  • “Professional Bargainer” skill now gives a discount of 5%, 10% and 20% at the shops.
  • Dead Ned can no longer use Kick.
  • Buffs from the crowd now appear less frequently
  • Warriors Calculated Health formula has been improved.
  • Enemies in the first tournament have less coins to purchase items.

Technical

  • Game engine has been optimized and will now run at better frame rate.
  • Loading times have been shortened.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where the volume levels were resetting between duels.
  • Skeleton avatar eye particles have been fixed.
  • Fixed issue where the experience and soul bar tooltips were getting cut out of the screen.
  • Warrior’s speech volume has been raised.
  • Fixed issue where the price of an item would show incorrectly.
  • Fixed issue with sound tab in options.
  • Victory sound level balance.
  • Starting weapon selector now works better.
  • Fixed crowd money tooltip.
  • Fixed dancing music issues.
  • Combat indicators no longer have an offset.
  • Warrior defeat cutscenes have been synced with sound.
  • Crowd buffs that are in combat will now show properly.
