Racket Fury - Beta Update #1

Greetings everyone,

First of all, we would like to thank you for the tremendous amount of feedback we have gathered from the beta phase. Your help has been invaluable!
Also, we would like to apologize for the delay. It took us a bit more work to fix those issues, but we have definitely made a huge leap in the quality of the game. Once again, thank you from the entire 10Ants Hill.

Before you dive into what we have prepared for you, we have decided to extend the beta phase up until 21.07.2017. This should give you and ourselves a lot of time to polish Racket Fury before its final release.

NEWLY ADDED FEATURES

Unfortunately, some of these options had to be deactivated but we’re going activate them again right after the weekend. Also, the ball effects are off (default setting).

Added Options in the Menu - you will find the available options below:

  • Turn on / off ball spin effect
  • Turn on / off ball smash effect
  • Adjust the paddle's angle
  • Set the distance between the paddle and the controller
  • Select your grip on the paddle (hand model will automatically adjust)
  • Select the ball's design and color
  • Select the playing hand

    Miscellaneous

    • Added table reposition option from the controller Thanks to this you can adjust the position, height and angle of the table and at the same time your playing space.

    BUG FIXES

We've fixed a lot of them thanks to your feedback!

    Physics

    • Paddle physics Significantly improved. You shouldn’t have any problems with the spins any more. Pay attention to “Paddle Spin” option in the Settings to adjust spin parameters according to your preferences. We realize the ball still goes through the paddle from time to time but we’ll work on that.

    Game Logic

    • Added net logic when serving
    • Fixed lost point logic when volleying
    • Fixed the ability to play around with the ball before serving

    User Interface

    • Improved button visibility on the controller during gameplay
    • Added button descriptions on the controller in the main menu

    Practice

    • Changed the opponent; now it should be much easier to train
    • Deleted startup error when clicking on restart after a match

Once again, we would like to thank our beta testers for putting in the time in helping us develop Racket Fury.
