Just a quick bulletin from the board game front: MOOD Publishing is releasing a new set of expansions to Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game!
New depths, new horrors, and new rivals are coming to the tabletop edition, which is getting three new expansion packs this summer. You can expect new gameplay depth and replayability, plus a whole new range of miniatures – including more original creatures unique to the tabletop universe.
Here are the three new expansions in a nutshell:
- Rival Incursion: The Rivals have made their way to the tabletop. Face off against Patrol Bots and Burst Turrets as you fight the Rival scourge, and take on the dreaded Caretaker in a board game boss fight.
- Horrors of Hoxxes: Four familiar DRG biomes make their way to the board game, bringing their own environmental hazards and unfriendly wildlife – including the Dreadnought Arbalest and Lacerator twins.
- The Shockwyrm: This mini expansion introduces an original creature, a formidable burrowing worm that attacks at close range with stunning electrical jabs. Stay on your guard, and don’t leave the insulated gloves at home.
