Hey Killers!
Hope you all had a safe and Happy Halloween. We've been working hard this week to clean up some bugs but also to add in some cool new stuff as well. When we saw Jim Sterling play Slayaway Camp before Halloween it blew our minds. We wanted to give him a little thank you gift so voxeled up a little Slayaway Camp Jimsaw Killer based on his original character. Well he loved it and was cool with putting it in the game for you guys, so... WE DID THAT!
You can now unlock Jimsaw Killer from the Mystery Box!
NEW STUFF!
- NEW MYSTERY KILLER! Jimsaw Killer...
- NEW BONUS KILL! Flip the Ultra-Gravity Switch 9000.
- NEW BONUS KILL! Roasting faces on the campfire.
- NEW BONUS KILL! Bird of death and destruction.
BUGS SMASHED
- You know how the controller had some bugs? Well lots of those bugs are gone now. This time, even more of them are gone than we realized. There are still some small things we want to improve but for now REVEL IN THE GLORY THAT IS YOUR GAMEPAD USAGE!
- We had a terrible bug where you could grind away coins in the Faces of Killed 3 bootleg snuff tape of constant death, only to rage quit due to not being able to make it past 26 kills YET AGAIN. Then you'd start the game and find that all those glorious skull coins were not actually saved and so you would weep 1000 tears. Well, coins now save properly after playing Faces of Killed 3.
- Hey you macabre spendthrift shoppers buying all the Gorepacks, Gorepack achievements now unlock retroactively, so if theres one you didn't get it should unlock the next time you start the game up for some slayage!
- Movie achievements are no longer "progress bar achievements" but are now straight up golden shiny normal type achievements. Bask in the glory that is their awesomeness.
- If, for some crazy reason you were watching a kill cutscene while getting shot in the face a bunch of times by a SWAT Cop, your killer might have got stuck, unable to move another step due to the insanity that had just occurred... that was unintentional on our part, so we fixed it and it shouldn't happen anymore.
- You know those dirty dirty censored shower scenes you get as a reward for unlocking the NC17 version of all the movies? Well they were SOOOO censored for a few select people that they would wouldn't let you UNWATCH them. This was entirely due to the Canadian Film Censorship Corporation Bureau. We have put in an appeal for this to be rectified and they have allowed us to submit this new fix which no longer glitches when you are viewing said cutscenes. Do enjoy them.
- Also we did some bug and graphical fixes for some NC17 levels.
- Plus some minor graphic fixes.
- Plus some more minimal bug fixes.
- Plus a few wee lil itty bitty baby sized text fixes.
