Welcome to the 29th issue of The Archos Herald - your source for all the latest updates on Dark and Light’s development and community features!
Development Updates
On Thursday, March 8th, we put out our first planned patch for March that contained many bug fixes and quality of life adjustments. You can view the full patch notes to see everything that was adjusted here. March is going to be a busy month with two more planned patches, and a new PvE experience that we’ll provide further details on in the future.
While there were many aspects of Dark and Light that were improved with this most recent patch, there were also some new bugs that were introduced. We’re aware that some Adventures are logging out in safe places, and then logging back in to find that their character is dead. Fire Elementals are also going on strike, and halting their crafting progress as soon as Adventurers go out of render distance.
Another issue that specifically Human Adventurers are having is that their placed Manor Gates were turned 90 degrees, and doors wont fit in newly places gates. We know that there are a lot of Adventures that are being affected by this, and are going to have a hotfix out for it as soon as we’re able to.
The community has created a couple of forum threads focused on listing the new bugs that they’ve found around Archos, so that we can take this information and investigate each one. We’re encouraging all Adventurers to come to these forums, check out the issues that have already been listed, and to join the discussion with any other issues they may have found. You can check out the discussion on our Official Forums here and on the Steam Forums here
