Seasons Greetings Adventurers!
Sip some hot chocolate, put on your cozy socks and kick back for the Dark and Light community winter event!
We will be kicking off the season with some winter weather, holiday trees, Double harvest rate event weekend, gargoyle treasure drops and we will be adding a new creature: The Snowy Fox!
During the Holiday event, you can find these cute creatures in the snowy areas! When picked up, the snowy fox wraps around the player's neck like a scarf and will keep you cozy during this cold season!
Holiday card community Event
Using a scene/screenshot from Dark and Light, create your version of a holiday-themed card! Be sure to include a title to go with your card and an optional inner description. Remember, the funnier the better!
Rules:
1. The card can be horizontal or vertical.
2. Please include a text title on your screenshot. You may use what you like for example: “Season's Greetings”. Feel free to be creative!
3. Optional: Include an inner description that you would typically find on a card. This does not have to be a part of the image but can be placed below the image as a description. Please see examples provided for inspiration
4. The card must be dark and light related
5. Keep in mind the card is not judged by photoshop skills but by wit and creativity

Be sure to get your submissions entered in as soon as possible for your chance to win!
Please include your *full* server name, the region and the number if you’re on an official server, as well as a link to your Steam profile (twitch and twitter handle if you have one) along with your submission.
Judging, Prizes, and Community Voting
Four (4) winners will be recognized in this event:
Three (3) winners, will be selected by our community team for their display of the Holiday spirit!
Each of the three winners will receive a key for DNL to share with a friend!
One (1) “Community Vote Winner” will be selected from a vote on runner-up entries that we’ll be featuring on our Facebook Page
The community vote winner will receive a $25 dollar gift card

Entry Submission Period: 12/24/18 11AM PST - 12/28/18 11AM PST
Voting Period Begins: 12/29/18 11AM PST
Voting Period Ends and Winners Announcement: 01/04/18 11AM PST
Update: Due to the delay in getting the community event up, we will be extending the submission period to 01/04/19 11AM PST. Voting will begin at 01/04/19 at 12PM PST, and winners will be announced 01/07/19 11AM PST.
