Hello everyone! Been a while since I posted one of these, huh?
There's been so much going on, that I just haven't had the time to write another, but no more! Now's the time to let you guys into the mix.
Blanco: The Color of Adventure is coming to Xbox One!
You read that correctly! Blanco TCoA is coming to Xbox One along with the steam version! Now here's the bit of unfortunate news that comes with that...
There won't be any frequent updates for some time. The game has now been centered around creating the game for Xbox, and the PC version will be adjusted based off this new version. This comes with several benefits however:
- Better Performance - Game will be highly optimized since it is being brought from a console port, so expect major performance improvements from the PC version, as well as a smooth, responsive console counterpart!
- Full Controller Support - Since it is going to be adjusted from the console version, this means full controller support in contrast to the partial support the current version has.
- Well-polished experience - Considering the game is being made for two platforms, there won't be a whole lot of updates as of now to avoid confusion of the game's current state and any changes (small or large) that might be made. This is be sure that the PC and console versions are released at the same time and are exactly the same in terms of gameplay, features, and to make sure that they are bug free and fun to play!
How's the game been coming along?
It's been going pretty great, actually! Got some cool screens to share, even though they've been seen in a couple of other places:
Chapter 1 is just about done, besides a few changes that need to be made here and there, and then I'll be able to release a final demo showing off the first couple of stages! The game's story is starting to come along nicely. I don't want to spoil it for you guys just yet, but I hope you'll enjoy it when it's finally available!
