This week we continue on the road to Full Release on August 29th, one year since we released into Early Access.
Full Release Pricing
Once the game is released out of Early Access, the final game pricing will change to $19.99 in the US / €19.99. This will be the final price for the Core Set (actual pricing will vary per your local currency).
Within the Core Set, you receive 3 Encounters, 7 Playable Quests, 8 Heroes, 37 player cards and the ability to unlock 53 additional cards using your Fellowship as well as free reward cards for completing quests and hero challenges.
Beyond Early Access, every Core Set owner will have access to new unlockable Player Cards, Encounters and the first quest of every future Campaign, as well as new cosmetics such as Avatars, Card Backs, Emotes using your Fellowship Points that you earn in-game.
Beyond that, we will have new DLC Campaigns and Expansions and more to come. Once we release, we'll start highlighting these coming additions to the game.
Additionally, just because the game is going Full Release doesn't mean we will stop improving the game. We've already identified areas of the User Experience we'd like to further refine and we will of course continue to fix bugs and add both feature adjustments and quality of life improvements.
Additional Bug Fixes
We will perform a last Early Access update before the game goes Full Release next week. This will address minor issues we've encountered, resolve new bugs that were introduced when we added additional optimization, and take care of a localization issue that is preventing players in some regions in the world not to see proper text on cards in the game as well as removing the Early Access pop-up display upon starting the game.
This update will go live the afternoon of August 28th at approximately 3pm US Central Time (22:00 UTC).
We'll remind you next week as well as provide a link to the Patch Notes at that time..

To everyone who has played the game and given us feedback during the Early Access period, we want to thank you. Our development and publishing teams have a passion for this game and the world that J.R.R. Tolkien created and we hope that comes through in the work we have done and the work we will continue to do moving forward. We couldn't have created this game without you and your assistance.
As a thank you for taking part in our Early Access period, we want to give you a small token of our gratitude. We're going to give all players a custom exclusive card back for your Sauron Decks. We will reveal the design next week, and this new card back will appear in your decks when we release the final update before we leave Early Access.
We hope you enjoy this new design and that it makes you the envy of your Full Access co-op playing partners.
Don't Know How To Change Sauron's Card Back?
Did you know that you already have two Sauron Card backs from which to choose? Do you know how to change them?
In order to change Sauron's Card Back, you need to go to the Vault Menu from the Main Menu:
Then choose the Card Backs Tab:
Then choose the Sauron Tab:
Simply click on the card back you like:
And then hit the save icon to save your selection (or hit the back button if you change your mind).
That's it. Enjoy your choice in-game and bask in its glow.
